Dew Jewelled Dragonfly Photo by Rodrick Lal — National Geographic Your Shot

Recently when I visited the Sultanpur Bird Sanctuary close to Gurgaon in Haryana, India, I was disappointed not to see a lot of migratory birds. However, looking at the dragonflies flitting around drew my attention. Since it was early in the morning, the dew drops bejewelled the insect. Since I had attached an 55-250mm lens to my DSLR, I decided to use it!
